Why Wedding / Elopement Photography?
I started my business back in 2021 when I had niched down to what made me feel most alive since picking up a camera for the first time. Weddings and elopements are extraordinary celebrations of love, filled with joy, emotion, and unique moments that deserve to be remembered. From the nervous excitement before the ceremony to the heartfelt vows and the "let loose" dancing that ends the night, I knew this is where I wanted to be, what I wanted to be apart of, and what I wanted to capture. Coming from a big family but leaving home at 17 for the military, weddings/elopements make me feel like I am back home all over again.
Our Approach
I believe that everyone, no matter of race, background, religion, or sexual orientation, deserves an amazing experience that comes with beautiful and meaningful visuals of the day their love was celebrated. The best wedding/elopement photography is a 70/30 blend of candid moments and carefully composed shots. In the process of getting to know my couples, I am able to tune my focus to what is most important to you. My approach is both unobtrusive and attentive, allowing me to capture genuine emotions, spontaneous interactions and candid moments. I strive to create a comfortable, fun, and memorable environment where you can be yourselves, enabling me to document your love story authentically and true to you.
The Experience
From our first meeting to the delivery of your final photos, I am committed to providing you with a seamless and enjoyable luxury experience. Here’s what you can expect:
1. Initial Consultation: We start with a detailed consultation to understand your vision, preferences, budget and any specific moments you want us to capture. This helps us tailor our services to meet your needs and ensure that we are on the same page. During this consultation, I will also ask questions to get to know you as a couple so that I can best tell your love story through my lens.
2. Engagement Session: An engagement session is a great way for us to get to know each other and for you to become comfortable in front of the camera. It’s also an opportunity to capture beautiful pre-wedding photos that reflect your love story that you can use for invites or even display pieces.
3. Wedding / Elopement Day Coverage: Everyone's wedding or elopement day is different. Depending on your chosen package, me and my team work with you and your day of coordinator (if you have one) to help things go as planned. While I make my presence known, I work discreetly to ensure I don't disrupt the genuine moments that I capture. For elopements, there are so many different ways to take the day which is why I offer all-day packages. This ties back to our consultation and the meetings that lead up to your special day, anything can be curated to fit your dream day!
4. Post-Production: After your wedding, we meticulously edit and curate your photos, enhancing their beauty while maintaining their authenticity. We pay attention to every detail, ensuring that your final images are nothing short of perfect.
5. Delivery and Beyond: Once your photos are ready, we provide them in a beautiful, high-resolution gallery that you can easily share with family and friends. We also offer a range of custom albums, prints and keepsakes, allowing you to showcase your memories in a way that suits your style.
